This project started near the end of 2025 when I wanted to organize my most listened to songs of that year into specific playlists. I was reminded of my childhood memories of burning music onto CDs and the impact it had on me at the time. So, I decided to dedicate an entire project to those memories since music has always been an integral part of not only my design process, but my everyday life. I wanted the project to feel visually cohesive but also personal. To simplify things, I decided to choose twelve of my favorite songs I listened to that year that best represented the chosen color. For each playlist I would design the CD, the cover and back for the case, and a booklet. The booklet contains song lyrics, designs, and illustrations I made while listening to the playlist. After such a long time I finally made something for myself and I hope I can continue to share more of it in the future. (My 2026 playlist will probably be red.)
