“CD PLAYLIST” is a personal project based on the act of burning CDs. While I was in the process of creating a digital music playlist I had suddenly remembered my uncle transferring music onto blank CDs for us to play in the car when I was younger. It helped introduce me to so many different genres and artists. Since music became such an integral part of my art process, motivation, and everyday life, I decided to develop a project dedicated to it. Oftentimes I associate songs to colors which sparked the idea of organizing my songs into color coded playlists. 

This project consisted of creating designs and illustrations for CDs, CD cases, and booklets. To develop a cohesive visual, every illustration piece in this project was created based on the songs in the playlist and the selected color. There were no restrictions when it came to working on this project and was rather focused on experimentation and artistic freedom.
